Oven smoked salmon |
A smoked salmon meal typically consists of salmon fillets that have been cured and smoked to give them a distinct, smoky flavor. This meal can be served in various ways, such as on bagels with cream cheese, in salads, or as part of a main dish with sides like vegetables or rice
Ingredients:
500 grams of fresh salmon
2 tablespoons of olive oil
1 tablespoon of lemon juice
1 teaspoon of grated lemon zest
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 teaspoon of dried thyme
1 teaspoon of dried rosemary
Salt and pepper to taste
Lemon slices for garnish
Parsley leaves for garnish
Instructions:
Preheat the smoker to a medium temperature (around 120°C).
In a small bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, garlic, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper.
Place the salmon on a baking sheet and brush it with the oil and herb mixture on both sides.
Place the salmon in the smoker and let it cook for 1-2 hours until fully cooked and light pink in color.
Remove the salmon from the smoker and let it cool slightly before serving.
Garnish the salmon with lemon slices and parsley leaves and serve with grilled vegetables or salad.
