Ingredients
1cup dried chickpeas (canned chickpeas can also be used)
3 tablespoons of olive oil
2 cloves of minced garlic
Juice of one lemon
Salt and pepper to taste
Chopped parsley for garnish
How to prepare:
Soak dried chickpeas in cold water for at least 8 hours (this step can be skipped if you are using canned chickpeas).
Boil chickpeas in salted water until tender (about 45 minutes).
In a large frying pan, heat olive oil over medium heat.
Add the chopped garlic and stir until golden.
Add the boiled chickpeas and stir with the garlic for 5 minutes.
Add lemon juice and stir the ingredients well.
Serve the grilled chickpeas in a serving dish and sprinkle with chopped parsley.
It can be served with pita bread or pita bread.
